3000 TRACKS and growing
We're proud to announce that we've just surpassed the 3000 track milestone! Songs from Jay T. Vonda Quartet, Ed Englerth. The Blind Chitlin kahunas, Bobby Messano, Christabel and the Jons, The Sirens, Timothy Gordon, Innocence Mission, and Dronevender have been recently added to our playlist.

150 new tracks added in 2010
From January 1st through March's mid-point we've added 150 new tracks from artists such as The Wee Trio, Ed Randazzo, The Badlees, Miztasand, Charles Walker Band, NY Funk Exchange, Ann Kerstetter, Dreamstreet, Satah Holgate, Tantrum, Free Flight, and more.

ChiliTech.FM is fast approaching 3000 songs, and expects to surpas the 3000 track milestone sometime in April of 2010. Many of these artists perform locally at venues like the Bullfrog Brewery.

The States come to Williamsport's Site:B
On August 22, 2008 at 7pm , NYC band "The States" (who is also the most requested and popular band on ChiliTech.FM) bring their energetic brand of brain punk to the stage at SITE:B, the new ALL AGE venue in Williamsport. SITE:B is located at 1307 Park Avenue.

WILLIAMSPORT SYMPHONY LAUNCHES MUSIC ACADEMY
Symphonies around the civilized world have had a hand in music education in their communities, and the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra is following suit. Set to launch on Saturday, September 13th 2008, the Williamsport Symphony Music Academy will feature members of the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra as teachers. All orchestral instruments will be covered: strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion.

SYMPHONY TO DO PAIR OF FREE CONCERTS
Now under the baton of new Music Director, Tomasz Golka, the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra will take the stage for a pair of free outdoor concerts. The first free concert is Sunday, July 13th for the Pops in the Park free concert series in Brandon Park. Music starts at 7PM. The program will be repeated on Wednesday, July 16th, at Hufnagle Park in Lewisburg, with music starting at 7:30PM

The States set to preform at Summerfest - Congrtatulations to The States who will be at Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI at the end of the month. Summerfest is sponsored by Zippo and is the world's largest music festival. Big names such as John Mellencamp, The Jonas Brothers, Nonpoint and Gnarls Barkley will be performing there!

"Been there, rocked that" at Rockstation's close-out. "Been there, rocked that" is an all-day music event with lots of local musicians paying tribute to the store who rocked Williamsport for over a century. Musicians are playing at the Rock Station on St. Patty's Day from 1pm - 6pm, and at the Valley Inn in Duboistown on April 4th.

Due to the overwhelming amount of support and listeners, we're optimizing the ChiliTech.FM server. The audio streams will be back up shortly at that time we'll be adding more songs to our library too!

We've determined that to better meet our listener's needs that a server upgrade is a wise decision, along with offering 3 different bandwidth streams 32, 64, and 128KBPS. This significant upgrade is set for September 25th, 2007. So the streams will be down for periods of time on Tuesday. We're just trying to reach more people in more ways! So now internet surfers of all bandwidths can tune in to our Streaming Audio Station!

ChiliTech.FM announces that it will soon offer both low bandwidth and higher bandwidth audio streams to suit a broader listener audience. September 24th 2007 is the set date to which this service will be offered.
